This Privacy Policy outlines how Impact Edu PLT operates through its two divisions: Impact Edu (Event Management, Support, IT Solutions, IT Training) and Impact Tutor (Tutoring Platform). It covers the collection, use, and disclosure of information from visitors, students, tutors, and corporate clients.

We are committed to protecting your data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia. By engaging with our services, you consent to the processing of your data as described below.

Personal & Business Data We Collect

Impact Tutor (Tutors & Students)

We collect essential details including Full Name, NRIC/Passport no., age, address, email, phone number, and banking details for payment processing.

Academic History

For tutor applicants, we record university details, qualifications, and teaching experience to verify credentials.

Impact Edu (Corporate & Events)

For corporate clients, we collect Company Registration Numbers, Person-In-Charge (PIC) details, business addresses, event attendee lists, and project specifications (including server credentials for IT maintenance).

How We Collect Data

We gather data through secure channels based on your interaction:

  • Direct Submission: Via registration forms, agreements, business cards, or emails.
  • Automated: Through website analytics and cookies when browsing impactedu.com.my.
  • Third Parties: From authorized representatives or public directories (where consented).

Your Rights: Access, Correction & Withdrawal

Under the PDPA, you may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data held by us.

Procedure

  • Step 1: Email your request to hello@impactedu.com.my.
  • Step 2: Specify if you wish to Access, Correct, or Delete data. Include your name and NRIC/ID.
  • Step 3: We verify your identity and aim to process requests within 21 days.

Note: Withdrawing consent or deleting mandatory data may result in the termination of services or contracts (e.g., we cannot pay tutors without banking info).
